Summary

Finding peace means letting go of the past—and embracing the change that is to come。

Sisters Esther and Lizzie have a new employee, Rose Petersheim, to help them tend to The Peony Inn。 But their old matchmaking ways have stayed the same。 The sisters focus their efforts on the lovely twenty-five-year-old Rose。 Though Rose is witty and outspoken, her nervous chattering makes her the best match for someone calm and good at listening。 Someone like Benjamin—the handsome handyman who recently moved to town。

But when Esther receives an anonymous love letter and flowers, Rose's love life is no longer the only one capturing the sisters' attention。 As they sleuth around searching for Esther's secret admirer, they uncover that their grumpy renter, Gus, has a secret of his own that could bring about a difficult change in all their lives。 And their continued meddling in Rose's affairs reveals she, too, is hiding something—an old wound that could threaten her future happiness。

As Rose, Lizzie, Esther, and Gus struggle to release the weight of their pasts, they discover that although people are complicated, love doesn't need to be。

This charming third installment of the Amish Inn series from bestselling author Beth Wiseman is a picture of loss and healing in which forgiveness will prove to be the greatest act of love。

Lol I laughed and laughed until I cried throughout this book and then I really cried。 Oh my!I knew it! I knew it! I knew it was him!I'm not saying who though。 I guessed it from the beginning。 I do want to say that I'm happy that Rose finally got her own story and it was worth the wait! My heart really went out to her。 There's just times that I really wanted to smack Lizzie and other times I wanted to hug her。 She's my favorite character because she isn't afraid or ashamed to show who she truly i Lol I laughed and laughed until I cried throughout this book and then I really cried。 Oh my!I knew it! My heart really went out to her。 There's just times that I really wanted to smack Lizzie and other times I wanted to hug her。 She's my favorite character because she isn't afraid or ashamed to show who she truly is inside and out。 Wiseman made her just perfect。 I wish I was more like Lizzie。I loved this story and I did not want to say goodbye to all of my friends。 These characters will always have a special place in my heart most especially Gus。 Cantankerous old man。 But, I have to admit that even though he was hard in getting to know I appreciated that he tries。 Some people are like that。 I think Esther reminds me of my father in law the most。 Mainly because of her role as peacekeeper in the family。 She really had her job cut out for her。 But, my admiration for her kept growing。 A truly delightful story with wonderful characters that will melt your heart immediately。 You'll be thinking about them long after the story is over。 I highly recommend! My thanks to Zondervan publishers for a copy of this book。 I was NOT required to write a positive review。 All opinions are my own。 。。。more

This is another installment in the story of Lizzie and Esther, the elderly innkeepers that like to play matchmaker。 This time their focus is Rose, their assistant at the inn。 All the old characters are around too, include Gus, the crotchety renter。 This, as always, is an entertaining story。 Beth Wiseman tells a funny and poignant tale each time and it's a delight to get the next installment。I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book that I received from NetGalley。 All views expressed are on This is another installment in the story of Lizzie and Esther, the elderly innkeepers that like to play matchmaker。 This time their focus is Rose, their assistant at the inn。 All the old characters are around too, include Gus, the crotchety renter。 This, as always, is an entertaining story。 Beth Wiseman tells a funny and poignant tale each time and it's a delight to get the next installment。I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book that I received from NetGalley。 All views expressed are only my honest opinion。 。。。more

I was so excited to check back in at the Peony Inn。 I was welcomed back to the inn by the elderly sisters Esther and Lizzie。 It was so good to see Rose who is still so chatty but there seems to be so much pain behind the chatter。 Esther and Lizzie want to get back to their matchmaking and they have their eyes on Rose。 They think that the newcomer to town, Ben, would be a good match for her since he is so shy, but will opposites attract? I really enjoyed going back to Esther and Lizzie's bed and breakfast again! This time it's Rose's chance at love with newcomer Benjamin。 She's talkative and he's not。。。or is she? There are a few mysteries。。。like who sent Esther a bouquet of flowers。 Esther and Lizzie are on a mission to find out who the secret admirer is or as Lizzie calls him "suspect number 1, suspect number 2 or suspect number 3"。 And also, where did Gus disappear to and what happened in Rose's past?
